After more than two weeks of no urates, today my iguana, Rocky, seems to be doing much better. Yesterday I noticed miniscule amounts of urates in his poop, but today there was a large amount of urates. When I took him to the vet last Friday he told me to give him Gatorade with a syringe. I gave him 96 cc's of Gatorade a day for a few days and I think he's gonna be fine. :-)
On a sadder note, my older brothers baby Veild Chameleon died today. He told me that he woke up around 9 am and sprayed her (and she appeared to be fine), and then woke up at 11 am and she was hanging from the back of her cage. He took her out into his hands (she was still alive and breathing) but then she died in his hands. Very tramatic. It had me crying all over the place. We just buried her down the street in the park.
