: Ive fielded many questions on protein over the years as it pertains to herbivorous reptiles. Try this: Go to any health food store or grocer and buy a package of 7, 8, or 15 bean soup (it doesnt matter how many types, as long as there is variety)
: The beans from the package (raw, no seasoning)can then be powderized in a food processor. With a little water, this becomes a gritty paste which can be sprinkled over the food offered. Remember, this should not be the Iguanas only source of protein, but it is an excellent way of giving some.

Powdered soy protine is also available in the health food section and makes a cheap and easy suppliment.
