Your ig is gonna go thru a multitude of color variations influenced by all kinds of things even tho region of origination & breeding are most common. Is it possible he's going into a shed? They get kind of a irridecent gray/bluish color sometimes. I'd keep an eye on it for a few weeks...I personally don't think its something to worry about based on the description in your other post.
