Have you thought about tub trainer her? I highly recommend it. Our 2 igs are not free roamers either (due to 3 dogs). The routinein ourhouse is:

6:15 am Harry is placed in the bath tub without water, but the faucet is running(warm water). I also pour cups of water over him. 99.9% of the time he will poop.

4:30 pm: Harry routine above is repeated. Followed by Lola who LOVES to soak in the tub full of water.

This is by far more easier to clean (tub versus cage). Also, the water helps hydrate them. Stick with a routine, whether you "poop" your iguana in the morning or in the evening (or both).
