I lost my first ig to one of my cats. I still blame myself everytime I think about it and do think about him a lot. If your ig is just a little guy, I wouldn't take the chance. If the ig is big it could be the cat who might be in danger. A good whip from the igs tail could break the cats leg. If you do introduce them be sure that you are there to supervise.
