Non Dairy products would be the Lactobacillus/acidophilis capsuls you can find at health food stores. They work great for Ig's that need gut flors replenished.
Alfalfa would be fine, MK's site has lots about it.
Kelp is also mentioned in several herps books as being a good source of iodine along with the other things you mentioned, it can be used to counteract the effects of feeding a diet high in goitrogenic veggies.
It's not tasty stuff though.
