It takes a lot of time and patience to tame an ig.We usually throw in the cages,an old clean t-shirt of ours to get them familiar with our scent.It seems to work for us as all our babies are very tame.Try to move slowly and speack softly when around your ig.Remember they first look at you as a threat to their well being,so try to get down to their level and don't force anything on them.Try just sitting by the cage with your hand in it and just let you hand stay still and talk to it.You can also try hand feeding your ig with it's favorite food.But you've got to remember,that you have to make sure they don't start to think of your hand as food.Just be patient,,it takes quite awhile to tame them.
