Supposedly sprouts of anything are not good for igs...high oxalates, goitrogens...Carrot tops loaded with oxalates more than the carrots do.Alfalfa (the mature stalk) is different than the sprouts (baby) and don't contain the concentrations of harmful phytochemicals like oxalates,phosphorus that the sprouts do.
