Kurt....this update is very helpful but something has gone wrong somewhere!! MBD is gradual mostly from long term diet or husbandry related problems.The underbite thing sure sounds like he's got it. Maybe this(MBD) started before you got him. ? The uvb tube..what brand name is it? Zoo-med?Vitalight(Duro-lite)?ESU? What is the % of uvb emission? Im stumped...I'd have him checked out anyway. It'll cost you some $$ but better to be on the safe side, hopefully you can turn him around,before he starts having other symptoms like leg paralysis.Here's a link to ARAV herp vet referrals.
