: Hi
: I have an iguana that I have had for several months now and I thought it had MBD, but now I think it might be something else.
: It left back leg is at about a 90 degree angle and faces backward. I have been feeding it greens 3 or type a day and a varitey of fruit and veggies it gets 4 or more veggies everyday and usaully 2 types of fruit, 50 percent greens, 40 percent veggies, and 10 fruit. She also gets calicum and vitemines once a week. This has made no change to to her leg is it possible that it is a healed broken leg.
: Thanks in advance
: Xavier
It is really hard to say.. How about UVB FLOURESCENT TUBES? OR NATURAL SUNLIGHT? All that calcium does no good if cannot absorb it..But I would HIGHLY suggest taking it to a qualified herp vet for blood samples! Also, wht kinds of fruits, veggies, greens..all are not created equal. Also if it is a healing FX, DEFINATELY should be taken to a vet, if it heals incorrectly, which it may already have, poor baby has a handicap for life, or will need to be re-broken and re-set correctly. (neither are plesant options)
