Hey,
Free roaming can be dangerous for your iguana, you should have a totaly Ig proofed room, with no other cages or animals in it. your specs sound fine. What i would do is first confine him to the area with the heat (not so small that he over heats) then slowly expand his living area.
Hope i could help, i am kinda new with Igs myself so i am sure somone with more experiance will correct me if i have made a mistake.
Thanks,
Justin

: Hi !

: I'm thinking about getting an iguana. But I want to be sure on what's ok for them and what's not before... I'm far from being new with lizards (Already have WD, BD, sailfin, collared and uro) but it's gonna be my first try with Ig's... I was thinking about let him free in a romm, with a spot just for him with is basking, UV fluorescent, branchs, pool and foods. But I don't plan to keep all the room at more then 80 F... Would he be ok in a room around 70-75 F with ambient humidity level and a basking spot between 95-100 F ?

: Is he gonna be able to learn where is basking spot is and return to, it when he strat to get cold ?

: I've saw many care sheets on them, some telling that they could be fine, some telling that they couldn't...

: What to you think ?

: Thank you :o)
