iglet in the tub?

My 3 month old iglet is shedding a little bit around it's neck. It was a little harder than normal, but after an hour struggle, my roommate and I caught it, and I gave it a bath. How long should an iglet's bath last? I went for a half-hour. I have been giving it a bath about once every three days. Is this two frequent? not enough? I just figured this would be good for the skin shedding problem.
