I really hate to sound like the bad guy and everything, but I felt that it's best that we stop taking iguanas and many other reptiles and other animals out of their habitat before they go completely extinct. Who really wants their children or grand children to grow up and while in their Science class, ask, " What was an iguana?" or " Was there ever really such things as chameleons?" Come on guys. If a permite could be issued, it should be issued for captive bred specimens ONLY! This is the best way to keep Joe Smith the herpetologist happy and not so worried about parasites and dehydration from shipment or what have you. Face it, it is VERY cruel what happens to those poor animals while on their way to your local scummy pet shop. But this is how I feel. Voice your opinion, after all, I think we all want to hear where everyone stands on this issue.
