i'm REALLY glad to hear Montana's doin' good!!!
i had a feeling he'd turn into a little green eating machine once he'd warmed up + started feelin' alittle better ~ YAY Montana!!! (AND James too!)

not all igs get skittery once they're feeling better (iZ didn't!) and even if Montana *does*, it doesn't mean that he doesn't like you, just that he's thought about it + has decided to be kinda scared ... it usually takes some time for little bitty iglets to decide to trust ~ but you've *still* made a good impression on him + have made a good foundation!!!

mating season worries are a ways off for you + Montana ... and it varies SO much from ig to ig that it's really hard to generalize about it ...
the extent their aggression can reach???
again, it varies from ig to ig ... but a full grown male ig IS capable of doing some serious damage to a human ... a *major* step towards preventing that is making a tremendous effort to understand your ig's language and respecting what it tells you ... and remember that igs ARE wild animals and they DO NOT "tame" the way dogs/cats do! with an ig, you have to *earn* it's trust + respect on a daily basis ~ they don't forgive like dogs do! (iZ + i have a pretty set daily schedule and woe is me if i'm 1/2 hour late with his bath + dinner!!! he either pitches a fit when i do go up to get him, or he IGnores me the rest of the nite as punishment ... :) )

if anything ~ Montana is gonna train YOU, not the other way around!!! LOL ...

keep up the good work!

Bon. + iZ (yOu wiLL bE IG-simiLateD ... thErE iS nOOOO eScApe ... *bobobobobobb*)
