Looks like from the comments here that I can stop worrying over our female who has been "attitudinal" the last few days. BTW, Penny, Lightning was spayed a yr. age in Aug. When she was at her vet's this July I asked him about the hormonal stuff even after spaying. He said "nah, they don't go thru seasons after spaying." I (stupidly) just nodded my head rather than argue with him. Because I know from all the posts here re post-op females and on the Ig Mailing List that the vet is wrong :o) It sorta reminds me of how pediatricians tell you teething doesn't cause fever, diarrhea &/or vomiting but MOMS will tell you it does!

L has been pulling the "I won't eat" trick that drives me crazy! I know that if I break down and wiggle a piece of bread at her she'll come running...so it's not a matter of not eating because she's feeling bad but a matter of "who's the boss, Hoss." Her male counterpart, Thunder, gets the exact same food and he came running, chowed down every bite and smacked his lips "umm, umm good!" while she just gave it the old evil ig eye and walked off. (She eventually ate half of it but only when I wasn't around to see LOL)

Eggplant....I'll get back to you on that because I remember reading about it on the List & I'll have to ck the archives on it. Believe it was okay as an occasional food.

P.S. If I were a lizard, I'd like that new set up, too...then again maybe not since I'm also female *grin*
