if anyone knows anyone in the southern california area who can take in an approximatley 2 yr old iguana let me know she is very even tempered and for about the last year has had excellent care. she is my iguana, and i have moved and i can`t afford to keep her anymore. i hate doing this and i know how irresponisible i am being but i ahve no choice. she is about 13 inches svl ( she was given bad care the first year of her life.. she was only 6 inches svl when i got her a year ago) and as far as i can tell healthy. i am willing to give her to anyone in driving distance as i will not ship. ( i will drive her to you). she has been fed a very well rounded diet with at least 15 different veggies a day and has also had the correct temp gradients and has had plenty of access to natural unfiltered sunlight. i am assuming it is female because i have not seen any signs of any male characteristics. she will tolerate handling, but i don`t think would do well with multiple igs. she has also been allowed to free roam and so does not like being caged in the least but will tolerate a large cage as well. if anyone has any ideas please email me and let me know. thanx in advance.
