Harry was very dehydrated when we brought him home. Our vet gave us a syringe (needle removed of course!) and we had to give him water (and someitmes deluted gatoraid) several times a day for 2 weeks.
Also, to this day, I mist both iguana's food. Also, melons are a great source of water. You might want to give the iguana a bigger than usual helping of melon in his salad (watermelon, cantelope, honeydew). Now, you have to walk a fine line with this (fruit), because you can also cause your iguana to get runny stools, which could mean more dehydration.
And finally, a good long soaking in the tub can help. This is the only time I see Lola actually drink water. Always have a bowl of fresh water in the cage (even though we have never seen ours actually drink from it!). Maybe they do when we're not around?
