Floyd's aftermath at my house!

Thanks for all the good wishes. Just got my power back and the phones have been back for a while. Just about made it through last night. Much water damage. Most roads are still under water as of 1.07am...thats now. The bridge outside on my street has been washed away in places so no cars allowed. I was lucky compared to others just a half mile away. They had mudslides rockslides power and phone lines down and flooding. The house across the street , the church across the street were under 7 feet this morning. The river stopped exactly 20 feet from my door. And yes...I measured. Unable to contact landlord to tell him of damage as phones are down still in his area. My Iggie is wondering why I'm running around like a looney. So now for the clean up...YUK! My stupid boss made me go to work today too. Sigh...now I'm rambling but you get the picture. Sorry its so long. Had to vent. Thanx again all for your kind thoughts.
