As far as the "dry bath" what Sue2 means is that we don't fill the tub with water at all. We usually only take a plastic cup and fill it, then pour it over Harry as he stands in the tub. Most of the time, Harry will go within a minute or two, doing it this way. But if we would start filling the tub, he wouldn't want to go to the bathroom, he'd want out of the tub asap. Since we live in a humid area of the country, during the summer we don't have to worry as much about keeping his humidity levels up. But for the winter months, we use a humidifier in the room with Lola and Harry, it runs 24/7. We also spray them down during the day at least once all year round.
For diffcult areas, such as the spikes or tail areas, we use a wet washcloth. We just cover an area and let the washcloth sit for 5 to 10 minutes to loosen up the shedding skin. At this time, it isn't that easy with Harry, his seasonal attitude really doesn't include wearing a wet washcloth!!
Let's see, it's into the 2nd month that I haven't been able to have Harry sit with me in my Lazyboy recliner :( Darn, I sure do miss having him around......but I wouldn't miss him as much as I would miss my ears or other body parts, if I let him out to sit with me right now!!!! LOL
