Just returned from the vets with Chloe, the research ig I adopted in Florida. As some of you might already know, she has not been eating, she's been hiding alot in low places, and has lost some body weight. This could have been caused by lots of things..stress from moving, new diet, etc. Well, she saw Dr. Zimmer this morning, had an xray, and she's carrying probably 30+ eggs! Everything else checked out ok, she's not in any distress, so we're fixing an egging box and waiting to see what develops. I'll keep you all posted. I spoke with Lara Maxwell at the U of F and the eggs could possibly be fertile. Needless to say they will be frozen..........
