How are you "forcing water" down her? Lots of ways to make sure your ig is getting good hydration: daily baths(they'll drink from it and possibility water is absorbed via the cloaca), proper humidity (60-100%),misting and letting her have a few squirts of water during misting her, spraying her salad with water, adding valencia oranges, chicory or watermelon. Most igs won't drink from standing water but get it from the foods they eat. Here's an article on dehydration that may help you determine the amount of fluids in a 24 hour period your ig needs...based on her weight and water content of the foods she eats. For water content of foods use the USDA Nutrient Database.Remember.... chronic dehydration is a KILLER.
