: : Don't worry about it...you did not raise a ruckus! I've seen ruckuses and this was not one LOL A ruckus is when we have to turn the water hose on and spray everybody *grin*

: : In my opinion, we all learn from each other. Diet is (and probably will always be) a topic that is rife with opinions on good, bad, and mediocre vegetables (and ugly ones!). Staple and occasional-use foods listings may differ from book to book or website to website, but there are also lots of agreement on these lists.

: : In my opinion, we all as individuals must come to a decision on what the right combination of foods is for our own individual iguanas and their individual needs. There are iguanas who have been placed on special diets by their vets after complete work ups indicate that certain needs are not being met with the current diet. Sometimes certain foods aren't available to certain regions/countries and substitutes have to be found. Etc. Etc. Etc.

: : Before I ramble on and on (or have I done so already?).....guess what I'm trying to actually say, Penny, is D0N'T be afraid to ask a question just because it is a "food question" and it may or may not cause a debate. Debate is good when done with respect; it's how we learn; it's why GOOD changes have been made over the years.

: : And yes I have a family: 3 kids, a husband, 1 dog, 2 igs, 1 dragon, 1 tokay gecko, 1 fat tail gecko and a red albino corn snake. My job is to take care of all of them :o)

: : Speaking of which....it's feeding time for the reptiles! Now all I have to do is not mix up the herbivores' food with the omnivores' food with the carnivore's food. Ha! And you thought ig diets were tough!

: : glenda
: : (just give me a steak & a baked potato & I'm happy)
