Please adopt my iguana. He is four feet long and three years old. I cannot handle him any longer because he bit my face and left a hiddeous bite on it. I put him on my recliner chair and wasn't watching him and he ran at my face with his mouth open and bit me. I think it is because I am a girl.
The pet store says they will take him, but I don't trust them to find a good experienced keeper. They just want money. Dr. Hess in Winter Park, FL says he is very healthy and he really is.
I am afraid to touch him or leave him inthe room with me. He just presses his body flat and looks at me like an enemy and swishes his tail from side to side.
I still love him, but my Mom says he has to go or be destroyed. I do not want him put to sleep, so I hope you will ask around if anyone has room for another beautiful iguana, or maybe a mate for their female.
I don't have a portable cage for him to give away, but i will help you make one.
Please respond! I must act fast.
