I'll do some more research on it and see if I can find any final statements regarding EMF.
In my opinion, I wouldn't stand next to anything electric for more then a minute or 2. Example: When you have the oven going, don't stand by it for long periods of time ( 5 minutes or more) Same way with a microwave and TV. As far as a monitor....the further away from you the better, as long as you can see the screen good. I would limit Cell phone use to a a few minutes at a time. I would avoid your house breaker panel if at all possible. If for some reason this panel box is close to some item you stand by and work, I would look into moving the item farther away from the box. There are high levels of EMF around the breaker panels.
For people with children, I would suggest not letting them play under major power lines for any length of time. When I say, major power lines, I'm talking about the kind that is supported by Metal towers. These types of power lines is how England researchers found out about EMF effects. Children that were going to school by major power line towers were coming down with more cancer per ratio then other children in different schools. Also farmers having dairy cattle grazing under these towers also found out that the cattle produced less milk and off spring were fewer too.

Conclusion: Either we all crawl into a a glass bubble and live our lives or be prepared to suffer some kind of medical problem from the environment. Which, in my opinion, 90% of all hazards in life are "Man Made"!
I'll post again when I find something more for you and anyone else interested in EMF levels and hazards. I have a few more search engines I can use.
