: Does anyone have hard evidence one way or the other if it is dangerous for an iguana to sit atop a computer monitor. Sleestack really loves to climb up and lay there while I'm on the computer at night. I worry that he could be getting some radiation so I don't let him up there everyday, but I need to know if it is okay or if it is a danger (he really loves it up there) Perhaps it is no more dangerous than me looking into one all the time.

Well, have you ever looked at the top of your monitor? There's lots of little holes up there that is used to let out the heat your monitor generates. It could be VERY easy for your iguana to get his toes caught in one of those! I wouldn't recremend putting a towel or something over those holes either, it could cause your monitor to overheat and go FOOM!
Okies, mebbe not FOOM! But you get the idear.
