This isn't a very scientific arguement, but I found it fairly convincing: If this was a problem for the average iguana, mine would have all been dead quite some time ago, seeing as they recieve both parsnips and natural sunlight on a very regular basis. Even when Bones had his accident and surgery, there was no problem with blood being too think or not clotting. Show me a hemophiliac iguana, and maybe I'll be concerned. Another quick thought: Humans and cows are mammels. Iguanas are reptiles. Many things that are good or harmful for a mammel, are different with reptiles. As long as parsnips are part of a varied, balanced diet, and not the *only* thing one's ig recieves, and the iguana has no history of blood problems, I wouldn't be too concerned with it. Just my 2 cents.
