Actually, no, he's not named from Star Trek. :) Alas, I've only seen the show once or twice. We named him Bones because, when we rescued him, he was 12" svl and weighed just under *1* pound. He was supposidly 5 years old and extremely gaunt. He fattened up quickly but the name stuck. Since I just learned how to post images to this list (heeee!) I'll stick a pic of poor Bones the day that we brought him home.
