Well Igmomma...I think I read specifications at the site...by "large enclosure"...not meaning the standard 6x4x2 iguana enclosures...Im thinking would be great for like bedroom conversions, Hatfields Ig Den..larger like that..or heck maybe even Bosse uses em...for his 25x20 (?). Anyway...not encouraging everyone go out and buy em....Ive already bought brand new uvb lights for upcoming winter but from other input Ive got on other boards like rph & sel...supposedly they last alot longer than tubes. I don't know if I'd ever try em but seem like a good alternative especially for free roamers with their own room,only require a porcelin topped fixture no hood, ballast can suspend it from the ceiling or? Im wondering how many people *actually* have their igs within 12 inches ...9 inches optimal ...of their uvb tubes 12 hours a day anyway? My igs sure don't!
