Yes sometimes loss of appitite is normal,,,but not loss of weight.The bump by the tail,,just haven't a clue,,yes I'd try an x-ray if that is the only recourse now available to you.It might show an old break or a new one that you didn't see him do.As LM stated,,,when an ig starts showing he's sick,,don't mean to scare you but,,it's usually been sick for awhile and it takes a reptile lots longer to repair or get better due to cold blood and slow reaction to meds.Keep him a little warmer than usual when giving meds,it helps the meds work better.Keep a close eye on him and get on line to see some of the good sites on igs,,in fact e-mail Des and see if you can get ahold of Madder on line.I think it's Madder who does phone and on line and will consult w/your vet.I'll e Des to get ahold of you.
