Cuddles was put to sleep today.

Cuddles went peacefully and we were glad because it was hard to watch her suffer this weekend. We would hold her each night and talk with her but she would sleep all day. So we are glad that she is not suffering.

Thanks for all your kind words and thoughts. It meant a great deal.

We also adopted two females this weekend, sight unseen. They arrived via Express Mail on Sunday and low and behold one of them (the tame one) was a beautiful orange iguana, like Cuddles. My son was so happy to see this he has named her Sweet Pea. She is big, strong and healthy and actually just about the same age as Cuddles. The other female we named Xena, Warrior Princess so you can just guess what her personality is like. I know Sweet Pea does not replace Cuddles but I have to think that she was sent to us for a reason.
