My ig Angus is a freeroamer. He was not to bad to train because he is very picky about where he will go potty and about staying clean. The only problem was getting him to go were I wanted not on my coffee table. So I got a turkey pan and put shred paper or news paper in it and put the pan next to the toilet. Every day I would put him in the box when I took a shower. Now he goes to his box all by himself. When he doesn't use his box I show him what he did and I lock in his cage for a little while. With Angus I have to keep his box clean or he will go on the bathroom floor, which is ok because it's tile.
