Good girl Gibby! Hope all turned out well....it's a relief for all involved when that last egg gets passed.
May I make a suggestion based on experience and knowing the experience of others with females? After a week goes by from the laying, if you have ANY doubts about her having laid ALL of them or ANY doubts about how she's looking/doing, I would suggest that you ask the vet to x-ray to be sure all eggs are gone and nothing "suspicious" is in her. It's a pre-caution that could be life-saving should there be any retention or broken/leaking eggs left. If you feel everything is fine, then cool! But if you have doubts....
Of course, you probably know this already....but just after laying they look like hell anyway LOL You get so used to seeing this plump lizzy and "all of a sudden" (yeah, right!) there's this scrawny lizzy with her skin practically hanging off of her. This is normal :o) Be sure to keep up the increased calcium for a few weeks after laying, too, to give her time to rebuild.
Congrats!
