Don't lower the temp to 60 degrees, it's not a good idea. Iglets don't "smell out" basking areas and dropping a temp would probably just make the iglet cold and a good chance of staying right where it is. Instead keep the house at 72 degrees or higher, and do a room to room check. The use of a flashlight is a must. Close off each room you check, by shutting the door and using a towel along the bottom of the door ( if the iglet is very young, they can get under shut doors) Make sure, no one opens outside doors without first checking the area around the door. Iglets are fast and before someone would realize, they can easily get outside. If you don't locate your iglet within a 24 hour period, put some food out in a few places with some water too.
