I recently moved from North Carolina to Tennessee...a seven hour drive...

The best way to move Beavis (4ft with an attitude) was to put her into a large kennel in the cab of the truck where I could control the climate...I also kept a light blanket over the top of it so she could not see things zooming by her. Also kept it relatively quiet so as not to alarm her.

She was still a bit stressed, but all in all, she was just fine.
