Robert,
First off, Iguanas don't need playmates. You might of first thought about this.....your first iguana might be a male and the second one you got just might be a male also. Now, if this is the case, you better get use to it, cause mating season for males is......well......INTERESTING to say the least. If they both are males, you will now need double the space for two cages.
I would of suggested, if you thought your iguana was bored, to move it's cage close to a window (NOT in direct sunlight)so it could watch things happening outside. They look watching birds and other animals moving about. Heck even the wind blowing the leaves on the trees is interesting to them. Sue and I have Lola's cage next to a north window and she lays on that side of the cage looking out and watching our dogs outside and the other wildlife moving around. Oh, and Harry, whos head bobbing like non-stop. If you know about males then talk with Skinny.....he's got his hands full with hummmmmm 6 males. He's not on much any more since he's working extra hard to earn enough money to build a second wing off his house to house all the male iguanas!!!!! I picture Skinny in a large round cage like you see "lion tamers" at the circus, with 6 males in season.....Skinny in the middle with a shield and a whip.
good luck......hope you have one of each.
Oh, about them being wild....try putting them in different cages and not letting them see each other for a few months. Handle each of them daily for at least an hour each. They need time with you.....outside the cage.
Have you taken them in for a checkup yet? They should both have stool samples done and a overall check up from a good reptile Vet.
Also, make sure you have a couple of hide boxes for them, at a younger age iglets need a place to feel safe. My Harry, was 1 1/2 years old when I got him, he used a hide box for a good month before he felt safe in his new home.
