if you can spend 15 minutes a day of 'quality' time with Gus, i'd say that's acceptable ... of course ... more is better, just like with ANY pet, but igs don't ~need~ as much social/human time as say, your dogs do ...

don't know how much you know about igs??? like, they grow really big, really fast?!? 5-6 feet long within a couple years ... Gus is gonna outgrow that tank pretty quickly ... if you can deal with that and the fact that it's gonna get maybe tricky to set up a nice environment for him, yes, keep him! the igs of the world need caring people to live with! (we can sure help with environment tips when the time comes for him to graduate!)
i love my iZ + i sure never thought i'd be a "lizard person"!!! so be warned! they creep into your heart and you will be forever changed!!!i brag about him just as shamelessly as i do about my son *grin* ... (iZ is 5' long + a whopping 9.5 pounds now!!!)
