: That staory was the saddest thing in the world! I have never actually cried at my computer! It is SOOOO true too. That is right, the smae thing happens to iggys...*sniff* Well, I am thinking of adopting this ig(hmm.Have I already posted about this? I don't know) that was abused and neglected really bad by its prev. owner. His name is leno and he scoots along the ground and can't climb. he is 3 ft. long. do you think i should adopt him? i want to really bad...also, i have cage that opens at the top. since i have grab isis really quick, i think he will be frightened forever because i am like a predator. how can i catch him in a way that won't frighten him but keepsme from being bit? thanx!
I'm still learning alot in the way of reptiles, but as far as most animals are concerned, adopting an abused animal can be very expensive, and if it was abused physically, it'll have alot of problems emotionally and psychologically. Not only that but if it's malnourished or has been neglected, it could havew some sort of disesase or parasite that it could pass on to your other ig. Also, if it's badly damaged it could also be damaged internally, and Isis could decide to practice natural selection, or the other iguana could be so scared and frightened he could harm Isis. Overall, I'd say your heart is in the right place, but, unfortunately sometimes you have to listen to your brain... Stupid, stupid brain
