Chris...it does look like the MK salad...If youre having trouble gettin your ig to eat it...loose the pellets (most igs hate it) loose the parsnips (high in phosphorus) and loose the green beans (high purines, protein,phytates) All these items are ok once in awhile...not to be fed long term or as a staple. Check out the Iggy Lovers website for food ideas....Yes you can give fruit everyday if you like!
Here's what your salad should look like and some examples:
60-70% dark leafy calcium rich greens (collard, dandelion , mustard, turnip greens)
20-30% nutritious veggies/breads (whole wheat, cactus, summer squashes like spaghetti (best), butternut or acorn (altho a CA:P ratio is like 1:1)
10-20% nutritious fruits (oranges, papaya, rasberries)
Check out the link below....and modify the amount (not knowing how big your ig is) so that you're not wasting alot of food!
