: I hate to get involved in this type of subject, but I have to say that with so many iguanas that are mistreated, and are homeless, and so many that die before they even turn one year of age, it seems a bit inhumane to incubate these eggs. The petstores, no matter how good they are, never seem to have a clue as to the proper care of an iguana. this results in badly treated igs, usually due to ignorance provided by the petstores. We obviously have a problem with these beautiful animals being abused in one way or another, so I don't see why anybody could in good conscience contribute to this horrible problem. If people want an iguana, they should adopt them for free, until there are no more iguanas needing to be adopted. I am forced to agree with Jbugs decision not to incubate. I hope that this post doesn't offend!
