i think maybe we have fewer scars cuz our igs are getting us trained better ...??? and i'm ~definitely~ better at trimming claws on a more regular basis than i used to be!!! that alone has cut down on alot of bloodshed (mine)!

ok lorry~ since cleo is iZ's 1st love, i bravely got on the scale with him tonite to see how big he really is ... OMG!!!! he weighs 9.5 pounds!!!! a new iZ record!!! he's still around 5' long ... just under 20" of that is body (it's hard to measure him without help! my arms aren't long enough!!!)

iZ gets handled every day ... he gets carried downsstairs to the livingroom for his supper and social time, maybe a nice warm supervised bath ... the end of his basking limb is right over my computer desk and he'll come sit by me at night ... we don't snuggle ~every~ night lately (cuz i'm just now able to carry him again *grin*) ... and then usually he gets carried back up and tucked into bed ... sometimes if he's grouchy, he'll go back up by himself ... and if he's REALLY grouchy orange, he may stay in his room for a day or two til he's fit for human companionship again ...

iZ doesn't go outside cuz i can't explain the concept of changing seasons to him and i always figured that once he got used to going outside, it'd be too cold to go out anymore ... (we're in Iowa) ... also, never figured out how to explain to him WHY he can't go climb those trees ...????

oh~ and he does like to ride on my head and use my ears as footholds ... i can't convince him that my head is slippery and he should NOT do that ... *sigh* ... ever try to explain a bloody scratched ear to co-workers???? LOL

ok ~ i'm done rambling now ...
