Anyway if it is the ficture when you do get the store to buy a new one make sure you get the ones with the ceramic socket not the plastic ones. I had plastic ones and the kept frying out on me. Oh and getting them at a hardware store is much cheaper that a pet store. About half the price around here. Anyway Desiree has good ideas for you just remember no heating bulbs in a regular lamp they will fry your lamp quick. I hope I helped. ^^^Sam^^^
