nix on the air freshener

I would not put an air freshener in the cage. Reptiles and birds are very sensitive to many chemicals, so why take the chance? Just keep the cage scrupulously clean and there should be very little odor to eliminate. As far as plants go, an ig will eat a plant in a heartbeat. You also need to be aware of toxic plants. There is a list on Melissa Kaplans website on them.
