The air freshner is more than likely harmful for your ig to breathe in the fumes/odor. I use the plug in air freshners in our house, but not in the iguana's room.

Someone on the forum has site for "ok" plants fofr igs to be around. Hopefully, they will post it for you. In the meantime, I would NOT put any plants in the tank to you find out what's toxic.
