I'm so confused with Pickles

I'm so confused i have a 3.5 year old male iguana, Pickles. He along with all my iguanas are royal sweeties as many people saw at the maryland ignic. The thing is he is in heat and all but he just isn't this mean devil. Sometimes he is hard to hold cause of strength and his desire to climb on my head taking out all ears and eyes in his way. We have two females and he is not allowed to mate with them. We get plugs many mornings but thats it. He's still my sweetie with me. He'll lunge at coconut our new ig when he is inside soemtimes. We think its sexual but we are'nt sure. He goes after liz sometimes too but its funny cause when all three are in teh out door cage no one bothers anyone. Go figure. So what am I missing. He doesn't try to "love" me and he isn't ever really mean to me. Is he not in season or what I jsut don't understand whats wrong with my guy. Not that its a bad thing though :)
