Importation Ban July 2000!!!! 4 real???

Just got back from rec.pets.herp.....a guy posted an article from Science Today...saying that the World Herpetological Society is in talks now in Washington D.C calling for a ban on the importation of boids, & colubrids just like they called for on the ban of green iguanas in July!! Can anyone get ahold of this article??? and post it...tried to copy & paste and no luck! (not too computer savvy!) Thought it was kinda interesting. Says look for July 2000 for the ban to go into effect? Is this just too good to be true??? Wes anyone out there can you check this out for me???
