I hope they do ban selling hermit crabs at boardwalks, carnivals and such. I have many tanks in my home devoted to them alone. They are actually a fairly difficult animal to maintain as you never know when they are sick or about to die normally until it is to late. You just have to make sure they have the special care needed. All the ones I have were taken from a filthy pet store that had them without food, water, and housed them on wood chips (this is bad, its like keeping igs on sand)
It would be a step in the correct direction.
