No, the photo's are pics taken of Drayco when he is most colorfull. Which can vary throughout the daytime.
He is a Red/Gold cross from SDR, it is really amazing how they change colors from drab to bright.
I think the best color on him is when he's sleeping, he just get's this great glow. :)

Humm aqua?? I don't see aqua color on him, :) aqua to me is bluish green.:)
perhaps your referring to the color of his epaulets? They are more mauve to purple color.
I'll post a pic here too now, he is a striking fellow, and to think when I picked him out he didn't look much different then a normal phase BD.

Actually I've been reading this forum for 1 1/2yrs too :) It's also come along way since then and it's great to see a good bunch of folks here.
I just don't post to much.
I do have an Ig as well, and will soon have her page done on my website.
She's very gravid right now so she's restless, she's 11 yrs old and doing really well.
I just hope she gets back to normal really soon.

Yes!! they are very cute, and I'm glad your finding great homes for them.
I just hope that the BD's don't win over the hearts of the Ig owners. :) LOL
