I have a can sitting right next to me, due to the fact that it was given to me by a woman with a TINY 1 yr old rescue (that we've placed, YEAH!!). This ig is very small, her legs are pretty scrawney, and she has a small bump on her jaw, and a lump on the back of her tail. Sounds like MBD to me...she also had no UVB light at all for her whole life, and has lived in a 10 gal tank with nothing to climb on. I was very surprised not to see a hot rock in the tank. But on to my point....

I have a can of it right next to me, and while reading the Ingredients of it, they are listed as...
Corn,
Alfalfa Meal,
Soybean Meal,
Wheat Bran,
Soy Oil,
Meat and Bone Meal

And there I stop reading...I know that this well NEVER see the inside of any of my igs mouths. Does your vet know of the Meat Protiens in the dry food? does he advocate the use of Animal Proteins for igs? If so, you may need to find another vet. Someone around here can help you (Des, Marie?) with the diet for a gravid ig, as I do not have the information at hand....(Never had a gravid ig, all mine are boys!)

Hope I've helped!
Juby
