As much time as you could possibly give it!!!! An iguana requires a minimum of at least 8 hours per month of natural sunlight..not filtere by window glass or screen of any type........or a minimum of at least 12 hours PER DAY of artificial sunlight from a UVB light source such as the "Iguana Light"......I give my igs the artificial light every day, AND ry to get them out in the sun as much as possible.......hopefully every day!
