: Marian from GA Herp Society will be taking the iguana in for rehab and then will try to find a new home afterwards.

Hi again, Desiree,

Good deal all around. I am still in the process of bringing one sadly abused animal along - my first, or rather, my other daughter's first, but I'm the one who bleeds. It's doing really well. I wasn't all that comfortable with taking on a second unmanageable invalid so soon.

My youngest wants one and wants an adoptee, which from what I've learned about the outragous Iguana situation, is the only way to go. But I would get the fun job of bringing it back to health and into modern civilazation.

And I like that. Straightened out a few sick and ill reptiles.

I am appalled at the Iguana population situation in this country. It is almost as bad as the obscene Rattlesnake round-ups.

Unfortunatly, I cannot take on a whole lot of orphaned Iguanas. I and my daughter and grandson live in a not-too-big house trailer with a number of resident herps + Trantula. Gots no room. The Green Garoot is un-caged mostly out of necessity!

I'm glad the Ig is in good hands, and if one closer to NE North Carolina than Atlanta comes around, holler.

GAWD, how I love Rattlesnakes!

Hang in, and don't burn the roux
